This unique nested bowl set has been carefully turned from a single piece of local Clovelly Spalted Ash timber, with each bowl created from inside the previous one. Beginning as one solid blank, the largest bowl was hollowed and separated, revealing the timber that would become the second bowl..

The result is a beautifully matched set, sharing the same grain, colour and character throughout. The flowing grain patterns continue from bowl to bowl, telling the story of their common origin and showcasing the remarkable efficiency and skill of traditional woodturning.
