Three-Way Crotch Oak Bowl – A Unique Piece of Natural Form
A truly individual piece of hand-turned oak, made from a rare and characterful section of timber where three branches meet.
This junction, known as a tree crotch, produces some wonderfully distinctive grain patterns. The result is beautifully illustrated in this bowl, with its swirling growth rings, rich natural tones and flowing, sculptural shape.
Carefully turned to celebrate the natural character of the timber, the bowl retains an organic, irregular rim that gives it a real sense of movement and individuality.
Rather than imposing a uniform shape, this piece allows the timber to dictate its own form.
A one-of-a-kind example of natural woodturning, equally at home as a decorative centrepiece or an individual piece of functional art.
